Key Takeaways
- Prioritize films with strong character arcs over high-concept premises that fizzle out halfway through.
- Check the runtime and pacing to match your available evening window so you never doze off before the climax.
- Research the director and cast history to gauge whether the emotional beats will land or feel completely forced.
- Read through viewer consensus regarding the ending because a rushed conclusion can ruin an otherwise solid ninety minutes.
- Confirm the streaming tier details beforehand so you avoid unexpected rentals or hidden subscription paywalls.
