Key Takeaways
- Check the current licensing window because streaming rights on Amazon Prime shift constantly between free ad-supported viewing and paid rental tiers.
- Prioritize runtime and pacing if you prefer tight thrillers over sweeping three-hour dramas that require an intermission.
- Verify the audio and video resolution provided in the base tier to ensure the stream matches the capabilities of the living room display.
- Read recent viewer feedback to see if the free streaming version includes unskippable commercial breaks that disrupt the narrative flow.
- Confirm the genre and rating beforehand so family movie night does not accidentally feature unexpected R-rated violence.
