Key Takeaways
- Look for films featuring practical stunt work over computer-generated effects to ensure genuine physical thrills.
- Check the audio format and resolution specifications to make sure engine roars and tire screeches use your sound system properly.
- Prioritize directors and cast members with proven track records in the action or comedy genres.
- Review the run time and pacing before starting so you do not commit to a three-hour slog on a weeknight.
- Pay attention to the release year and subgenre to decide between nostalgic 1970s terror and modern high-speed animation.
