Key Takeaways
- Check the streaming video resolution carefully because some older or independent titles on Prime default to standard definition rather than crisp high definition.
- Verify whether a film listing includes bonus features like director commentaries or behind the scenes documentaries before you click play.
- Pay attention to audio formats such as Dolby Digital or stereo sound, especially if you rely on external soundbars for movie nights.
- Read user reviews to confirm subtitle availability and language options, as foreign or classic films occasionally lack standard English captions.
- Confirm whether the title is included with your Prime membership or requires a separate rental fee or third party channel add on.
