Key Takeaways
- Prioritize a bagless design with a transparent dust cup so you can easily monitor capacity and empty debris without buying replacement bags.
- Check the cord length or battery runtime carefully to ensure the machine can clean your entire living space without constant recharging or unplugging.
- Look for specialized attachments like crevice tools and upholstery brushes if you share your home with shedding pets.
- Evaluate the weight and steering mechanism to make sure you can maneuver comfortably around heavy furniture and up a flight of stairs.
- Compare the filtration system, especially washable filters, to maintain strong suction power and trap microscopic allergens over time.
